The Extech PRC20 is a compact, high-accuracy thermocouple calibrator designed for field and laboratory calibration of temperature sensors, transmitters, controllers, and recorders. It sources and measures eight thermocouple types (J, K, T, E, N, R, S, and C) with ±0.05% accuracy, displaying output in °C, °F, or millivolts based on standard thermocouple reference tables. Featuring a large backlit dot-matrix LCD, five user-definable calibration presets, and a mini-thermocouple input, the PRC20 supports HVAC, manufacturing, process control, and R&D applications. Powered by six AA batteries or an included universal AC adapter, it delivers reliable, portable temperature simulation and verification in a rugged palm-sized housing.
