Power-up options

On the real meter you hold a key while turning the switch from OFF. Here one click does both.

Try this

Pick Wall socket, turn to V~, then press Hz to read 50 Hz.
Probes touching at Ω: press REL Δ to zero the lead resistance, and the ·)))) key for the continuity beeper.
Silicon diode at Ω: press the blue key for the diode test (about 0.6 V).
4-20 mA loop at mA: the small display shows the loop in %. Try MIN MAX while you move the slider.
PLC input at mA ⇕: step the output with %STEP, trim with COARSE and FINE, check the span with 0% / 100%.
Turn to the ramp position and press the blue key to change the ramp. Turn back to mA ⇕ to freeze it.
Pressure transmitter at LOOP POWER: the 789 powers it with 24 V and reads its current. The blue key adds the 250 Ω for HART.
